Production Supervisor-MP&L

The Production Supervisor-MP&L role involves coaching safety, quality, and productivity, monitoring andon occurrences, verifying line operations, supporting continuous improvement, and managing unionized personnel.

Responsibilities:

• Coach safety, quality, and productivity to meet objectives
• Monitor and respond to andon occurrences
• Verify line operations through Process Confirmation
• Support continuous improvement and problem resolution
• Communicate and recognize team achievements
• Develop Team Leaders and Members
• Create a conducive work environment
• Manage daily material handling functions
• Ensure proper material flow
• Provide direction and support for material handling
• Implement lean manufacturing practices
• Lead and manage unionized personnel
• Introduce new parts to production
• Implement Engineering Change Process
• Identify and correct data gaps in CMMS

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 3-7+ years of supervisory, manufacturing, or relevant experience
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodology and/or Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) is preferred

This position is a salary grade 7, ranging from $84,480-$141,360 per year.
