Description
We are seeking an Assistant Topographical Surveyor to join our UK-wide Surveying Services team based in Leeds.
As an Assistant Topographical Surveyor, you will be working on survey projects across the UK, assisting with land and engineering surveys, processing projects, and mentoring junior team members.
The successful candidate will have a relevant technical degree/HND in surveying or a related discipline, with 2-5 years of experience in a similar role. You will be competent in the use of total stations, GNSS & terrestrial laser scanners, and have experience in the use of relevant software including N4ce, Trimble Business Centre, and AutoCAD.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist with land and engineering surveys
- Process projects while adhering to WSP's standards
- Mentor junior team members
- Work on survey projects UK-wide
Requirements:
- Relevant technical degree/HND in surveying or a related discipline
- 2-5 years of experience in a similar role
- Competent in the use of total stations, GNSS & terrestrial laser scanners
- Experience in the use of relevant software including N4ce, Trimble Business Centre, and AutoCAD
- Good problem-solving, self-management, and people skills
- Ability to work effectively alone or as part of a team
- Ability to travel UK-wide on a regular basis
