Description
We are seeking an Analytical Scientist 1 to join our Clinical Solutions team at Syneos Health, a leading organisation in life sciences services. As an Analytical Scientist 1, you will perform various activities related to the treatment and analysis of biological samples. You will also be responsible for recording activities related to sample analysis, assisting in verifying documents, and initiating analytical runs using appropriate instruments and software.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all activities related to the treatment and analysis of biological samples
- Record activities related to sample analysis and assist in verifying documents
- Initiate analytical runs using appropriate instruments and software
- Follow up on analysis results and help find solutions to bioanalytical problems
- Assist in disposing of chemical and biological waste produced by laboratory employees and help clean laboratory equipment and instruments
- Perform support tasks to meet laboratory user needs
- Ensure activities are performed in accordance with company policies, standard operating procedures, and applicable operational guides
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or college diploma in science
- Computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Word, Excel, and analytical software
- Basic understanding of analytical chemistry requirements
- English proficiency; bilingualism required, including comprehension of simple messages and basic instructions
- Relevant certifications may be considered acceptable
