Security Officer

ABM UK is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Regent Arcade Shopping Centre in Cheltenham. As a Security Officer, you will ensure exemplary standards of security and customer service are always provided to the client and visitors to the site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interact with all visitors and tenants within the shopping centre, delivering first-class customer-focused service.
• Carry out regular patrols of the shopping centre as detailed in the site Assignment Instructions.
• Be professional, pleasant, friendly, courteous, and helpful at all times.
• Ensure exemplary standards in personal grooming, strictly adhering to the site uniform requirements.
• Ensure the site is a safe and non-threatening environment for all visitors and tenants.
• Liaise with site control room, proactively reacting to incidents.
• Help third-party contractors and visitors, ensuring all site procedures and policies are adhered to.
• Liaise closely with statutory authorities, dealing with incidents.
• Ensure radio procedures are always adhered to.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the business.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Valid SIA Licence(s)
• Knowledge of Assignment Instructions (AI's)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Customer/client-focused
• Ability to work under pressure
• Computer literacy required
