Active Directory Specialist

AIA Digital+ is seeking an Active Directory Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will ensure IT service availability, minimise business impact of IT service outages, and improve user satisfaction with IT services.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of AD administrators and support engineers to ensure high performance and operational efficiency.
• Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Active Directory Services and components.
• Ensure the stability, security, and performance of Active Directory across the organization.
• Act as an escalation point for Active Directory-related issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
• Implement and enforce security best practices for Active Directory.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and organizational policies.
• Monitor Active Directory performance, analyze trends, and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to evaluate, select, and implement AD-related tools and technologies.
• Develop and manage AD-related budget.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of relevant experience in which at least 1 year regional exposure.
• Hands-on experience in AD-related technologies or an equivalent combination of qualifications and relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree holder of university on Information Technology or related discipline.
• Extensive knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, CA, and related technologies.
• Strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM) principles, including Azure AD, LDAP, and SSO.
• Experience with cloud-based directory services environments is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified, or equivalent is highly desirable.
