Physical Therapist, Outpatient

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking a full-time physical therapist for our Clemmons Spine and Musculoskeletal Outpatient practice. The successful candidate will have a strong focus on evidence-based and patient-centred care, with excellent teamwork and communication skills.

The role involves providing comprehensive therapeutic patient care, educating patients and healthcare providers, and interacting with other departments to develop and implement interdisciplinary patient care plans.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care assessment and treatment
• Maintain accurate patient documentation
• Meet department financial and productivity standards
• Participate in process management to optimise quality and efficiency of services
• Promote professional development and education of other healthcare workers
• Supervise physical therapy and physical therapy assistant students
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, staff, and external customers

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in North Carolina
• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited physical therapy school
• CPR certification required every two years
