Cleaning Operative

ABM UK is seeking a diligent and motivated Cleaning Operative to join their growing team in Belfast. The role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene to the highest standards in various client locations.

Role Overview As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for performing general cleaning duties, ensuring safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and kitchen areas, restocking consumables as necessary.
• Ensure waste is disposed of correctly and recycle materials where appropriate.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any damages or supply needs.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
• Communicate effectively with site management and team members.

Requirements

• Willing to work flexible hours.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to pass security requirements/vetting.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland/UK.
• Good written and spoken English.

Desired Qualifications

• School leaving standard qualifications in Maths and English.
• Full clean driving licence.
