About the Role
Able to apply different data science techniques such as deep learning, machine learning, reinforcement learning, natural language processing and other approach on different business requirements from various business units.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, extract, and wrangle data for analytic modelling.
- Develop custom data models and algorithms applied to different data sets based on business requirements.
- Develop processes and tools to monitor, assess, and analyze algorithm, model performance, and data accuracy.
- Develop testing frameworks and test model quality.
- Coordinate with various business units to implement models or processes and tools.
- Develop governance and frameworks to establish analytics practices across the organisation.

- Great interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication skills. Can present complex information clearly and compellingly.

- Willingness to train and educate resources on data science topics.
Technical Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science or equivalent with 3+ years of experience in data/computational focus.
- Experience using programming languages such as Python, SQL.
- Experience using visualisation tools such as Tableau, PowerBI.
- Strong knowledge of advanced statistical methods, predictive and prescriptive methods. Preferably with expertise in deep learning, recommender systems, and NLP/Computational Linguistics.
- Background in handling big data. Strong track record of manipulating, processing, and extracting data from large databases.
