Description
We are seeking a Night Manager to join our team at Asda, a leading retail organisation. As a Night Manager, you will be responsible for managing and leading the night team to ensure the smooth operation of the store during night shifts.
The successful candidate will be able to drive strategy into action, lead with impact, and be execution-focused. You will also be responsible for talent development and creating an environment where colleagues feel valued, trusted, and motivated.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and leading the night team
- Ensuring shopfloor standards are met
- Executing trading activity on the shopfloor
- Developing and coaching night colleagues and team leaders
- Creating a culture of selling to customers with personality and serving with heart and pride
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Experience supervising or managing teams in a retail grocery environment, ideally overnight
- Ability to make decisions independently with a hands-on attitude and a drive to improve processes and people
- Confidence in developing teams and managing change
- Strong customer service focus
- Flexibility to work a range of night shifts, including weekends
