Description
GitLab is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, cross-functional technology programs that advance its enterprise IT strategy.
As a Senior Program Manager within GitLab's Enterprise Technology organization, you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale or high-complexity Enterprise Technology & AI initiatives. You will serve as a trusted advisor and program execution partner to IT leadership, translating strategic objectives into structured roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end program management for large-scale or high-complexity Enterprise Technology & AI initiatives
- Define and communicate clear success metrics for each program
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of underlying problems
- Drive cross-functional alignment by facilitating decision-making and resolving dependencies
- Recommend and implement improvements to program governance frameworks
- Translate complex technical and business requirements into clear work plans
- Anticipate risks and interdependencies across the portfolio
- Model GitLab values and remote work best practices
Requirements:
- 6+ years of program management experience
- Demonstrated ability to simplify complex processes and build structured approaches
- Experience influencing without authority and earning trust with senior stakeholders
- Comfortable operating at both a strategic level and in the details
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with Enterprise IT domains such as business systems, data, AI, security, infrastructure
- Proficiency with program and project management tools and methodologies
