We are looking for a Business Development Manager based in Bergamo. This is a rare opportunity to become a founding and important member of a growing, well-funded company.
As a member of the regional sales team, you will report to the Sales Lead, and your role will focus on developing new relationships with restaurants and stores.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage the entire sales process in your reference territory, including mapping the area, prospecting, commercial negotiation, and contract closure.
- Become a true expert in the local market, identifying trendy venues and brands most requested by customers.
- Support partners during the onboarding phase, ensuring them an optimal entry experience on the platform.
- Promote and make understood the value of Deliveroo technology to restaurateurs through commercial visits, calls, emails, and social contacts.
- Handle objections and support venue owners in overcoming any hesitations.
- Represent the company by attending events, meet-ups, and sector fairs.
Requirements:
- Strong commercial attitude and consolidated experience in sales/business development (B2B).
- Excellent communication and relational skills, with experience in managing customers both in person and remotely (phone and email).
- Ability to present digital products and solutions, highlighting their added value for the customer.
- Strong negotiation skills and result-oriented.
- Knowledge of the dynamics of the Restaurant/Ho.Re.Ca sector is an important plus.

Compensation:
- The total target compensation (OTE) for this role is €35,200 – €44,000 gross per year, of which the base salary range is €17,200 – €26,000.
- The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed above and is determined based on a number of job-related factors including skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
