Associate Vice President - Credit Analytics

We are seeking an Associate Vice President to join our Credit Analytics team at OakNorth. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting detailed loan analysis, building financial models, drafting credit reports, and engaging with clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis of loan opportunities across various sectors and geographies.
• Draft concise, well-structured credit reports with clear key takeaways.
• Build detailed financial models covering transaction details, financial statement analysis, projections, ratio analysis, and credit metrics.
• Conduct sensitivity analysis and stress testing on projections.
• Identify deal-specific covenants for loan monitoring purposes.
• Conduct industry and market studies to understand borrower operating environments.
• Interact with clients to discuss data gaps and analytical frameworks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in credit analysis or a related role.
• Strong financial analysis skills with a thorough understanding of accounting and financial concepts.
• Proven ability to draft clear, concise credit reports.
• Strong communication skills with confidence interacting with stakeholders.
• A proactive, results-driven mindset.

Nice to Have

• MBA, PGDM, CA, or CFA from a reputed institute.
• Experience conducting industry or market studies.
• Prior exposure to covenant structuring or loan monitoring frameworks.
