Flight Software Associate (Winter 2027)

Astranis builds advanced satellites for high orbits, expanding humanity's reach into the solar system.

As a Flight Software Associate, you will work on designing, writing, and testing software for satellites and ground control systems.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the engineering team to design, write, and test software (embedded software running on satellites, as well as a variety of ground control and testing software)

Requirements:

• Hold a four-year degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or be currently enrolled in a M.S program in a similar discipline
• Experience with C/C++ and scripting language(s)
• Demonstrated ability to personally design, write, and test software from scratch

Bonus skills:

• Experience with embedded systems running on bare metal
• Experience with real-time operating systems
• Experience with FPGA or DSP programming

The base salary for this position is $1,925 per week.
