Description
We are seeking an Analyst, Accounting to support the month-end close, accounting, and reporting activities across the APAC region.
In this role, you will develop in-depth knowledge of the Company's systems, processes, products, and reporting requirements while partnering with stakeholders across Finance and the business.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the month-end close process, including preparation of management accounts, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Assist with tax filings, year-end audits, and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Maintain and update accounting policies and processes as needed
- Prepare information and reports for tax filings, group reporting, financial analysis, and other local and global reporting requirements
- Utilize finance systems and reporting tools, including ERP platforms and Microsoft Office applications, to support APAC reporting activities
- Build effective working relationships across the APAC region and collaborate with management and associates on reporting-related matters
- Present financial information, analyses, and recommendations clearly and professionally to stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Professional accounting qualification such as HKICPA, ACCA, CPA Australia, or equivalent is preferred
- 5-8 years of accounting, financial reporting, or audit experience, preferably within a multinational environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with ERP systems such as PeopleSoft or similar integrated finance systems is preferred
- Sound understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting requirements, and internal controls
- Knowledge of tax compliance and statutory reporting requirements is an advantage
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Cantonese
