Network Security Specialist

As a Network Security Specialist, you will help design, implement and govern network security controls to protect our modern enterprise network.

You will work within the Connectivity Engineering Team, collaborating with Information Security, Platform, Infrastructure and Application teams to ensure security is embedded by design.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing, implementing and maintaining enterprise network security controls
• Acting as technical authority for Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks and Zscaler platforms
• Ensuring security policies are consistently enforced across environments
• Leading complex troubleshooting of network security issues
• Defining the network security roadmap and micro-segmentation strategies
• Providing design input into new initiatives and evaluating new security technologies
• Developing and maintaining network security standards and policy definitions
• Supporting audits, risk assessments and regulatory obligations
• Acting as a technical leader and mentor within the team

The ideal candidate will have:

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years' experience in regulated, mission-critical environments
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g. PCNSE, NSE, CCNP Security, CISSP)
• Deep hands-on expertise in enterprise network security engineering and large-scale network infrastructure support
• Experience with Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet and Zscaler platforms
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust networking principles and identity-aware access controls

We offer a standard 40-hour week, with opportunities for TOIL or overtime compensation.
