Senior Data Analyst

The Game Intelligence team within the Enterprise Intelligence organisation uses data to deliver valuable insights and solutions for game teams and players. As a Senior Analyst, Insights, you will collaborate with product managers, engineers, game designers, and quality teams to enhance player experiences and drive business outcomes through data.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse player and product data to uncover patterns and recommend opportunities to improve performance, stability, automation, and test coverage and bug metrics
• Build dashboards, reports, and visualisations that help stakeholders make better, faster decisions
• Contribute to the development of predictive models and other applications of machine learning that personalise player experiences or support product decisions
• Explore and apply generative AI tools to increase the efficiency of your own work and support scalable insights
• Work with partners to define the right questions to ask and the right data to use, helping embed data in daily decision-making
• Present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in data analysis or applied analytics, in gaming, software, mobile apps, or similar
• Proficiency in SQL for querying large datasets; experience with analysis and modelling in Python or R
• Experience with visualisation tools such as Looker, PowerBI
• Ability to translate business needs into technical data requirements
• Experience with or interest in using machine learning and generative AI tools to support analytics or player insights
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to independently manage assigned tasks including work planning for assigned deliverables
