Platform Owner Microsoft SharePoint Online

We are seeking a Platform Owner for Microsoft SharePoint Online to lead the strategic development of this platform. As part of our Corporate IT team, you will design a central platform for document management and digital collaboration, aligning business requirements, technological developments, and regulatory specifications.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing the strategy, roadmap, governance, and lifecycle for SharePoint Online
• Defining and evolving standards for information architecture, permissions, external collaboration, document lifecycle, and retention
• Managing and overseeing governance, compliance, migration, and modernization projects
• Coordinating platform decisions with various departments, application management, IT operations, and relevant governance and control functions
• Ensuring service quality, risk management, business continuity, cost management, and transparent reporting on platform status and investment needs
• Setting up and taking over governance and further development responsibility for Adobe Sign as a complementary solution for electronic signatures

Requirements:

• Completed studies and several years of relevant professional experience in strategic responsibility for IT platforms, products, or services
• In-depth experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 in a complex corporate environment
• Expertise in information management, information architecture, authorization models, document lifecycle, retention, records management, and Microsoft 365 compliance
• Ability to translate business, technical, and regulatory requirements into clear priorities, roadmaps, and viable decisions
• Strong analytical and entrepreneurial thinking, ownership mentality, and excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in German and English
