Mechanic Auto

We are seeking an Auto Mechanic to join our team in Southeast Michigan. As an Auto Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles. You will work on a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs.

Pay Information: The starting rate for this position is $44.565 per hour, with pay increases to the top rate of $44.765 per hour upon completion of three consecutive months of employment. You will also receive applicable shift, overtime, and holiday premiums.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and diagnose vehicle problems
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs
• Conduct test drives to verify vehicle performance
• Maintain accurate records of services and repairs
• Comply with federal and state vehicle requirements

Qualifications:

• Completion of a bona fide apprenticeship, or 8 years of previous experience, or a combination of previous work experience and training equivalent to a bona fide apprenticeship program in the trade
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Requirements:

• Successful completion of a job interview, background check, pre-employment drug screen, and physical are required. The drug panel does not include THC.
