Physical Therapist (PT) - Outpatient - Weekends

We are seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our outpatient team on weekends. As a Physical Therapist at Advocate Health, you will provide high-quality patient care, evaluate patients, and develop treatment plans to help them achieve their goals.

Job Summary: Provide weekend support with flexibility to work Thursday-Saturday or Friday-Sunday at one of our locations. Schedule is flexible to PRN or part-time hours.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients, select and administer assessment techniques, and synthesize information to establish patient care plans
• Gather and interpret data from medical records, physician reports, patients, and families
• Establish functional goals with patients and provide evidence-based interventions
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge notes
• Communicate with physicians, referral sources, and clinical staff
• Supervise PTAs and Rehab Tech/Aides as required

Physical Requirements:

• Hearing and vision adequate for communication and reading
• Intelligible speech and adequate language/cognitive skills
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, kneel, twist, bend, and lift patients and equipment
• Personal Protective Equipment may be required

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
• Applicable state license for Physical Therapy
• BLS required
