Apprenticeship - Accounting Operation

Prudential is seeking an apprentice for its Accounting Operation team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily support for accounting operations
• Prepare journal and listing related to investment transactions
• Provide unrealized investment income links and life fund information
• Prepare bond lists for life funds, including bid and mid prices
• Provide aging unrealized investment income for tax purposes
• Calculate variance prices between bid and mid prices
• Prepare realized bond life amortization listings
• Prepare balance sheets in foreign currency (BS USD)
• Provide equity realized listings
• Prepare bank charges listings for consolidation reports
• Perform proper bank reconciliations
• Input weekly fixed asset movements
• Input daily journal transactions, including account payable, payment vouchers, and payment request forms

Requirements:

• Final-year student or fresh graduate with an accounting major
• Good English language skills and daily business communication abilities
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Good knowledge of accounting principles
• Availability to join for a 6-month internship period
• Willingness to work from the office three times a week and from home two times a week in South Jakarta
