Description
We are looking for a Technical Artist to join the EA SPORTS FC team at Electronic Arts. As a Technical Artist, you will serve as a bridge between artists and engineers, working closely with artists, project managers, and the Technical Art team.
The main areas of responsibility include asset optimization, content management/integration, and game development. You will be expected to assume ownership of any technical issues that arise on your projects and resolve them.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a bridge between artists and engineers

Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of modern game engine production and development experience
- Hands-on experience in in-game performance-related optimizations
- Hands-on experience with content workflow in game engines
- Experience in professional programming
- Being able to read and write C++ is a bonus
- A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a related field is desired
- Effective at communicating with different audiences
- A solutions provider, particularly as it pertains to testing and debugging technical issues
- A willingness to jump into the unknown and solve new problems
- A proven track record of the ability to think creatively to resolve technical challenges and limitations in a fast-paced environment
