Software Engineer AI Infra

Microsoft AI is seeking a Software Engineer AI Infra to contribute to the development of State-of-the-Art (SOTA) Large Language Models (LLMs).

As a Software Engineer AI Infra, you will work on building world-class consumer experiences and products in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop software systems for pre-training and post-training infrastructure, including benchmarking systems, evaluation, router, and backend systems.
• Gather data and insights to develop the pre-training compute roadmap.
• Contribute to the development of AI models powering innovative products.
• Overcome obstacles to quickly deliver work to users.
• Work in a fast-paced, design-driven product development cycle.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field and 3+ years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with generative AI, distributed computing, and leading technical projects.

Salary ranges from $102,100 to $202,200 per year, depending on location and experience.
