FBS – Farmer Business Services is part of Farmers Insurance operations, aiming to build a global approach to identifying, recruiting, hiring, and retaining top talent. The Personal Lines Architecture team defines and governs technology strategy, standards, and roadmaps for Auto, Home, and Umbrella platforms.
The Domain Architect owns the architecture vision and roadmap for Personal Lines policy administration platforms supporting Auto, Home, and Umbrella products. The role governs Guidewire Policy Center and related capabilities, provides strategic guidance to delivery teams, drives modernization initiatives, and influences technology investments aligned to business priorities.
Key responsibilities:
- Utilizes in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in Domain Architecture to perform complex technical planning and architecture development.
- Solves complex problems and partners effectively to execute broad, continuous Domain level architecture improvement roadmaps.
- Works independently, receives minimal guidance and direction to solve for and influence Enterprise and System architecture.
- Mentors developers and creates reference implementations/frameworks.
- Partners with System Architects to elaborate capabilities and features.
- Delivers single domain architecture solutions and executes continuous domain level architecture improvement roadmap.
