Physical Therapist

We are seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join our team at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center - Acute Care Rehabilitation.

The Physical Therapist will interpret physician referrals, complete musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, and integumentary evaluations, and establish a plan of care for patients.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
• Implement and monitor treatment plans, adjusting as needed
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Provide patient/family teaching and discharge planning
• Complete required documentation and maintain productivity standards
• Participate in performance improvement activities and pursue professional growth

Requirements:

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Intermediate computer skills and excellent communication, interpersonal, and organization skills

Physical demands:

• Ability to lift, stand, walk, and squat throughout the workday
• Lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to waist, up to 10 lbs. from waist to overhead, and carry up to 40 lbs. at waist height
• Push/pull with 30 lbs. of force and perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with a second person present
