Description
We are seeking a Multiskilled Engineer to join our team at Spire Methley Park Hospital. As part of the engineering team, you will provide a comprehensive and cost-effective engineering service within the hospital, ensuring a safe environment for all staff and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement a comprehensive, cost-effective, planned, and preventative maintenance programme for all building services.
- Assist the Engineering Supervisor as the point of contact for external contractors and manage them on site.
- Undertake maintenance and testing of plant and equipment, ensuring compliance with current HTM recommendations and manufacturer's instructions.
- Receive, review, prioritise, and take action on maintenance requests from departments.
- Provide out-of-hours emergency on-call service and in-house day-to-day maintenance service.
Qualifications, Training, and Experience:
- Recognised apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Relevant certificates or willingness to undertake specialist training.
- Experience in building services, particularly ventilation or mechanical within a commercial setting.
- Decontamination experience is desirable.
