Aerodynamics Designer

TGR Haas F1 Team, a stalwart of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship, is seeking an Aerodynamics Designer to join their team in Maranello, Italy.

The role supports the delivery and contribution of departmental and organisational objectives, working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure high standards of service, compliance, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• CAD surface definition and concept scheming
• CAD model part design
• Develop workflow automation tools
• Carry out day-to-day tasks efficiently and within agreed timescales
• Ensure work meets expected service, quality, and compliance standards
• Build positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
• Participate in meetings, briefings, and forums as required
• Adhere to relevant legislation, organisational policies, and internal controls
• Contribute ideas and feedback to improve processes and ways of working

Person Specification:

• GCSE, High School diploma or equivalent in a relevant discipline
• Further education including an Engineering University Degree desired
• 3 years of work experience, 1 of which must be in a professional motorsports environment
• Strong technical background in racing car
• Excellent understanding of English language

Requirements:

• Solid computer knowledge, preferred experience in Microsoft Office products
• Working experience with 3D CAD, strong preference to Catia/3DX
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with extended hours and flexibility
• Willingness to travel extensively and work irregular hours, including weekends and race days
