Research Scientist

Anduril's Research Scientists develop state-of-the-art algorithms and software for real-world applications. Working in small teams, they build solutions that make a difference, ensuring technology is deployed in mission-critical systems for successful customer outcomes.

You will:

• Contribute to team direction with expertise and ideas
• Create mathematically principled solutions for challenging information science problems
• Prototype state-of-the-art algorithms in an agile environment
• Implement high-performance software for tactical systems to web applications
• Use high-fidelity modeling, simulation environments, and analysis tools to quantify technology benefits
• Engage with customers for successful mission-critical outcomes
• Communicate complex technology details effectively to experts and non-experts

Required qualifications:

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
• Record of academic excellence with experience in applied mathematics, engineering, scientific computing, and probability
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
