We're looking for a Game Designer I to help create engaging content, live-service experiences, and challenge-driven gameplay for Covet Fashion. You will own design initiatives, collaborate across disciplines, and contribute to the systems, content, and experiences that bring the game to life.

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver content, features, and live operations initiatives, proactively identifying risks and blockers.
  • Design and deliver challenge content, event experiences, and thematic concepts that enhance player engagement and creative expression.
  • Create challenge briefs, styling prompts, event themes, and player-facing content that inspire participation.
  • Partner with design leads to ensure content aligns with the overall game vision, player needs, and business goals.
  • Write clear and engaging challenge descriptions, event copy, and supporting content.
  • Build, tune, and implement content using internal tools, game data systems, and live operations workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, art, product, QA, and Live Ops teams throughout development.
  • Support recurring live-service content including Event Series, Mini-Sets, Fashion Pass initiatives, seasonal campaigns, and other engagement programs.
  • Break down ideas into actionable tasks and maintain comprehensive design documentation.
  • Research fashion trends, player motivations, lifestyle trends, and competitive products to inform content and feature development.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of game design experience.
  • Experience working on mobile free-to-play games from concept through live service.
  • Experience designing content, events, challenges, quests, missions, or player-facing experiences.
  • Strong understanding of player motivation, progression systems, engagement loops, and live-service content.
  • Strong writing and communication skills with the ability to create clear and compelling player-facing content.
  • Experience collaborating across design, art, engineering, production, and product teams.
  • Familiarity with game data systems, live operations processes, and design-to-engineering workflows.
  • Understanding of player psychology, pacing, game balance, retention drivers, and live-service content expectations.
  • Interest in fashion, lifestyle, creativity, customization, or self-expression driven experiences.
  • Ability to translate themes and player motivations into engaging gameplay content and experiences.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working on fashion, lifestyle, dress-up, customization, simulation, social, or creative expression games.
  • Understanding of fashion trends, styling, luxury brands, or the fashion industry.
  • Background in fashion design, fashion merchandising, fashion communication, or related disciplines.
  • Experience creating thematic or narrative-driven content for live-service games.
