Description
This role leads simulation, modelling, and verification activities for vehicle power consumption, driving reduction and optimisation initiatives, and owns low-voltage consumer understanding.
What You'll Do
- Lead simulation, modelling, and verification of vehicle power consumption performance
- Drive power consumption reduction and optimisation activities across the vehicle
- Maintain technical ownership of all low-voltage consumers within the vehicle
- Manage power budgeting for component specifications using benchmark data and engineering analysis
- Collaborate cross-functionally with systems, electrical, software, hardware, and attribute teams
- Provide clear reporting on consumption status, risks, and opportunities
What You'll Bring
- Extensive experience in vehicle power consumption analysis, simulation, modelling, and verification
- Strong technical grounding in low-voltage electrical systems and vehicle consumers
- Practical knowledge of Simulink and System Composer
- Experience defining, managing, and validating power budgets for components and systems
- Ability to drive consumption reduction and optimisation activities across multiple systems and stakeholders
- Degree-qualified in engineering (or equivalent)
