Description
We are seeking an Engineer - Track & Ground to join our team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing rail alignment, creating templates, and corridor modelling for rail facilities, freight, passenger railways, LRT, MRT, and other guided transport systems.
Responsibilities
- Design rail alignment, regression analysis, template creation, and corridor modelling of railway corridors, service roads, fencing, and technical areas.
- Quantity estimation, 3D model extraction, cross-section drawings, plan drawings, plan & profile drawings, and design reports.
- Identify business opportunities, initiate discussions, and convert them into success stories.
- Ensure quality and timely delivery to clients.
- Basic project management, including documentation and submission tracking.
- Leading a design team, if necessary.
- Reporting project status to higher management.
Qualifications
Mandatory
- At least 4 years of experience in Rail Alignment & Track Design for LRT, Metro, Monorail, High Speed, and/or Freight railways.
- Excellent command of written and verbal English.
- Proficiency in Bentley products, such as Microstation/Open Rail Designer, Projectwise, and Open Roads Designer.
- Problem-solving skills and originality in approach.
- Computer literacy, including MS Office tools.
Desired
- Swedish project experience and knowledge of Swedish design standards.
- Experience working in/with other cultures.
- Experience in projects from feasibility to detailed design to implementation and client handover.
- Self-motivation and ability to motivate others.
- Working knowledge of software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Ability to work truthfully and honestly.
- Familiarity with interfacing with other disciplines.
Education
- Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering.
