Description
We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at PT Solutions, working in partnership with Northeast Regional Medical Center. As a PRN Occupational Therapist Assistant in acute care, you will play a vital role in expanding access to transformative care and making a real difference in the lives of patients and our communities.
Your Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment for treatment and assist an Occupational Therapist with rehabilitative activities for patients
- Establish strong relationships with each patient to help them exceed their functional goals
- Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, patient families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members
- Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital with physicians, case management, nurses, and others
Requirements:
- Graduate of an ACOTE-approved occupational therapy assistant program
- Current or pending state licensure
- Basic Life Support certification
Schedule:
- 2 weekend day shifts per month
- 1 major holiday
- 1 minor holiday
