HPS Investment Partners, a part of BlackRock, is seeking an Associate level candidate to join the Portfolio Analytics & Reporting team, focusing on the Private Credit platform.
The role involves monitoring, tracking, and analyzing performance at the investment, portfolio, and fund levels. The successful candidate will create and update client portfolio reports, prepare ongoing and ad hoc investor data requests, and ensure the quality and accuracy of performance reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and analyzing performance at various levels
- Creating and updating client portfolio reports
- Ensuring accuracy and quality of performance reporting
- Assisting in operational due diligence for existing and potential new investors
- Coordinating with investor relations, compliance, portfolio managers, and operations
The ideal candidate will have:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant business-related field (finance, economics, accounting, etc.)
- 4-7 years of relevant portfolio analytics experience, preferably in the alternative asset management industry
- Strong understanding of credit and financial markets
- Strong knowledge of accounting and finance
- Exceptional Excel skills
- Strong organizational and process management skills
- Python and SQL knowledge is a plus
