Supplier Engineer, Electronics

The Supplier Engineer drives the strategic supply network development and cost management of Anduril Imaging's electronics across their lifecycles.

Responsibilities:

• Manage electrical BOMs, component risk assessments, and alternate component sourcing paths across product lines.
• Identify & mitigate supply-chain lead-time/sourcing risks, especially for PCBA components.
• Ensure scalability of electronics sourcing strategy as multiple product lines scale to full production.
• Conduct supplier selection across product lines and manage/expand the approved supplier list.
• Work closely with suppliers to handle and resolve basic technical inquiries.
• Collaborate with the quality team to ensure AS9100 compliance for production electronics builds.
• Work with the manufacturing team to ensure proper release and transmission of technical data packages.
• Coordinate with Anduril HQ's PCBA commodity team to streamline PCBA procurement processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement and development, or design of electronics.
• Domain expertise of value/procurement engineering at the component & product level.
• Ability to travel 10-25% of the time for vendor on-site visits.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree or advanced technical degree.
• Experience in sourcing of printed circuit boards and subcomponents.
• Familiarity with PCBA fabrication & assembly processes.
• Familiarity with PCBA industry quality standards such as IPC and J-STD.
• Exposure to working in a fast-paced start-up environment.
