Description
GuidePoint Security offers a fellowship program for separating service members and military spouses through DoD Skillbridge, Army Career Skills Program, Hiring Our Heroes, or SpouseWorks. As a fellow, you will work with industry-leading subject matter experts to provide first-class cyber security services. You will complete in-house training programs and work on projects to enhance your security knowledge and skills.
Responsibilities:
- Hands-on technical development
- Real-world security response
- Collaborative project work
- Team and position shadowing
- Partner-led vendor training and certifications
Requirements:
- Separating from active-duty service within the next 18 months or a Military Spouse who has been accepted into the SpouseWorks program
- Eligible to conduct a fellowship through DoD Skillbridge, Army Career Skills Program, Hiring Our Heroes, or SpouseWorks
- Basic knowledge of networking, common security tools and practices, and a passion for information security
- Preference given to those currently serving in IT or cyber positions
