Description
We are seeking a Stage Business Management Macro-Trading - COO Office (f/m/d) to join our team in Paris.
As part of HSBC's European hub, you will contribute to the growth of our Global Macro – Rates & FX business. You will work closely with the Business Manager Macro and the Front Office Rates and FX teams.
Your mission will be to assist the Senior Business Manager in managing projects and monitoring the activity of Global Debt Markets (Bonds and interest rate and credit derivatives) and Securities Financing (Repos, Prime Finance, and Clearing) desks, interacting with structuring and sales on cross-cutting topics.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with project management and support for Trading: prepare, analyse, and follow up on development projects, in coordination with Front Office operators (Trading, Structuration, Sales, COO office) and support services (control, risk, and IT).
- Assist with reporting and trading tools: produce activity reports (electronic trading, auctions, etc.) and statistics by product and activity.
- Assist with the development of new activities in continental Europe (Compliance, IT systems development) in close collaboration with trading, IT, and compliance teams.
Profile:
- Bac+4/+5, business school or university with a market finance curriculum.
- Language: French and English (fluent reading, writing, and speaking).
- 3rd language appreciated.
- Essential knowledge of Python, Visual Basic, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook).
- SQL appreciated.
- You demonstrate rigour and resist stress with a smile.
- You can manage multiple projects simultaneously and have good interpersonal skills.
- A first experience in the financial sector is highly appreciated.
