Workers' Compensation Attorney

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney to join its growing practice in New Haven, Connecticut.

The successful candidate will handle a heavy and complex caseload of cases and hearings, and will be responsible for:

• Day-to-day handling of cases and hearings
• Drafting and filing of litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and motions
• Guiding clients through the case process
• Interacting with expert witnesses, including conferences and drafting of expert reports and affidavits
• Attending and preparing for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances

To qualify, candidates must have:

• A law degree from a fully accredited law school
• An active membership in good standing with the CT State Bar Association
• A minimum of 3+ years of workers' compensation experience
• The ability to manage a high volume of cases and hearings
• Excellent client service and communication skills
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
