Software Engineer III

Electronic Arts is seeking a Software Engineer III to join their team at Respawn Entertainment, a AAA studio known for games like Titanfall, Apex Legends, and Jedi: Fallen Order.

The Quality Engineering team at Respawn plays a critical role in game development and quality assurance. As a Software Engineer III, you will report directly to the Engineering Manager and contribute to engineering efforts to support high-quality games.

Responsibilities:

• Implement tools, automation, and systems for game and editor workflows.
• Support all parties in the game development process.
• Ensure the stability of tools and services, including continuous integration pipelines.
• Document and present technical designs for peer review and provide feedback on others' designs.
• Mentor engineers through code review and technical guidance.

Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
• 5+ years of experience with C# or C/C++.
• 1+ year of experience with containerized services, databases, and storage technologies.
• Experience working with remote team members in a flexible collaborative environment.

Desirable skills:

• Experience in Unreal Engine game development.
• Experience in web front-end technologies.
