Teach Kindergarten at Success Academy Florida

We are hiring a kindergarten teacher to join our founding team in Miami-Dade, Florida.

As a kindergarten teacher at Success Academy, you will play a crucial role in establishing the culture, routines, and academic excellence of our school from day one.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with colleagues and leaders to strengthen instruction and student outcomes
• Serve as an ambassador of SA's Adult Winning Culture, demonstrating professionalism, excellence, ownership, and a focus on student success
• Engage and invest families in students' academic growth, behavior, and overall success
• Build strong relationships with students and create a classroom culture of joy, rigor, and high expectations
• Deeply study the SA curriculum, assignments, and learning goals
• Deliver rigorous, engaging instruction that drives mastery of the content
• Regularly study student work and assessment data to evaluate learning and identify areas for improvement
• Lead and manage a classroom of 25+ students, establishing and enforcing routines and expectations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Fluency in English; bilingual fluency in Spanish and/or Haitian Creole is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for learning and commitment to student development
• Ability to work in person in Miami, Florida
