Research Scientist, Lipid Chemistry

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Scientist to join our Innovation Center for novel lipid or polymer molecule development for RNA and gene delivery formulation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for hands-on laboratory work, conducting novel organic and lipid polymer chemical synthesis to support our proprietary lipid-based drug delivery platform.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing scalable synthetic processes for commercial use in LNP and targeted LNP formulation
• Characterizing, problem-solving, and interpreting analytical data from instrumentation such as HPLC, LC-MS, NMR
• Maintaining the chemistry laboratory and inventories according to good laboratory procedures
• Regular communication with supervisor and peers on research findings and proposing suggestions for next steps
• Staying current with the latest technology and scientific trends

Requirements:

• Ph.D. in organic, polymer, or lipid chemistry from an accredited university
• Minimum 1 year of post-doctoral experience in academia or industry, preferably in a GMP environment
• Proven track record of scientific accomplishments through publications or patents
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 total compensation, including bonus, depending on experience and qualifications.
