We're looking for an experienced professional to fill the role of Senior Specialist, Business Compliance and Risk Management.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Compliance risk assessment and monitoring
  • Assist with implementing compliance projects at the branch level, ensuring alignment with business objectives and corporate compliance strategies.
  • Manage compliance-related initiatives from regulatory bodies and the head office compliance department.
  • Develop and improve compliance monitoring mechanisms, providing risk alerts and recommendations to management.
  • Establish and refine compliance processes to meet risk management needs.
  • Conduct compliance reviews, offering expert advice and identifying potential risks.
  • Provide guidance on business projects to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Organize and oversee compliance training programs.
  • Risk management
  • Support key risk indicator monitoring, abnormal indicator analysis, and risk event reporting.
  • Coordinate risk assessments and risk management training.
  • Collaborate with the risk management team to address major risk issues.
  • Internal control management
  • Assist with internal control matrix maintenance, self-assessment, and defect identification.
  • Guide departments in implementing regulatory requirements.
  • Compliance inspections and investigations
  • Participate in compliance inspections and risk assessments initiated by the head office or branch compliance department.
  • Cooperate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Compliance reporting
  • Prepare timely and accurate reports on compliance issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the financial industry, with 3 years in a related field such as law, compliance, auditing, or risk management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Chinese and English.
