We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Calculation Engineer for Fuel at Svensk Kärnbränslehantering AB (SKB), located in Oskarshamn or Solna. As a Calculation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies for managing spent nuclear fuel. Your primary responsibilities will include leading and planning fuel calculations, performing analyses and calculations related to criticality, radiation, and residual effects, providing technical support to development projects, improving work processes through automation and method development, and participating in national and international collaborations.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant academic background in natural sciences and engineering, preferably with a focus on mathematics or physics. Experience in nuclear technology, programming, and computational programs such as MCNP and Scale is highly valued. Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English are required, and a driver's license (B) is necessary.
