Contract Technical Recruiter

As part of Ford's Talent Acquisition team, you'll help attract, hire, and retain top talent to achieve the company's vision.

Ford's Electric Vehicles, Digital and Design (EVDD) team is driving the company's fully electric transportation future, focusing on customer experience, entrepreneurship, and data-driven decision-making.

In this Contract Technical Recruiter role, you'll play a vital part in defining, developing, and maintaining a winning culture that empowers diverse individuals to work together and create innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to understand needs and ensure alignment between job descriptions and target candidate profiles
• Pursue passive candidates through personalized reach-outs
• Advocate for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) internally and externally
• Conduct initial phone screens with candidates to assess suitability for positions
• Source high-caliber active and passive candidates using various methods and tools
• Partner with hiring managers to make offers and hire highly sought-after technical talent in a competitive market
• Manage pipeline activity, maintain data integrity, and share data-centric updates with internal stakeholders
• Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with management and key cross-functional stakeholders
• Join projects related to employer branding presence and strategy

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recruiting experience, with expertise in full-cycle recruiting and influencing the inclusion and diversity landscape of a company
• Proficiency in handling hard-to-close candidates in a competitive market
• Experience or exposure to recruiting in global markets
• Ability to own the entire candidate experience and provide an outstanding experience to candidates
• Self-motivated and driven, with a desire to grow and develop in your career

This position is a leadership level 6, with an hourly rate ranging from $70-$80/hr. The final determination of salary grade will be based on the candidate's skills and experience.
