Engine Build Mechanic

Join Audi Formula Racing GmbH in Neuburg, Germany, as an Engine Build Mechanic. You will be part of a team creating a high-performance powertrain for Formula 1.

Your Mission

• Assemble, maintain, and disassemble Formula 1 engines independently
• Perform inspections of high-performance sports engines and individual engine components
• Examine, measure, assess, document, and evaluate engine components
• Carry out and document all necessary repair and conversion work on high-performance sports engines
• Perform mechanical work and produce assemblies according to drawing specifications
• Manage SAP data entry and transaction processing for internal combustion engines
• Collaborate with the design team on continuous improvement processes for assemblies

Your Profile

• Qualified car mechanic or mechatronics technician
• Further education as a technician or master tradesperson is desirable
• Several years of experience as a racing-car-engine mechanic
• Proficiency in Office products and PC usage
• Experience with engine repair or motorsports
• In-depth knowledge of racing-car engine structure and engine technology
• Excellent teamwork, organisational skills, and a strong sense of responsibility
• Independent and structured working practices
• High degree of commitment, initiative, and strong communication skills
• Full professional proficiency in German or English with a willingness to learn the other language
