Physical Therapist, Outpatient Orthopedics

We are seeking a Physical Therapist to join our Outpatient Orthopedics team at Advocate Health in High Point, NC. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing patient care assessment and treatment, ensuring comprehensive and functional evaluations, and developing treatment plans with realistic goals.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care assessment and treatment, adhering to hospital and departmental policies
• Ensure patient evaluations and treatments are comprehensive, functional, and according to the Standard of Practice
• Develop and implement treatment plans with realistic goals, encouraging patients and significant others in setting goals
• Supervise support staff and provide direction and feedback
• Maintain accurate documentation, completing written patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge notes per policy
• Meet department financial and productivity standards, adjusting individual schedules as needed
• Participate in process management to optimize quality and efficiency of services
• Promote professional development and education of other healthcare workers
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, staff, and external customers

Requirements:

• B.S., M.S., or D.P.T degree from an accredited physical therapy school
• Current licensure in the state of North Carolina
• CPR certification in Basic Life Support, Level C

Benefits:

• Competitive salary range: $38.20 - $57.30 per hour

• Full-time position, 40 hours per week
• Monday - Friday, with intermittent Saturday clinic coverage
