Description
This Occupational Therapist position at Intermountain Health involves screening, testing, evaluating, diagnosing, and treating injuries, diseases, and disabilities using occupational therapy procedures and modalities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing skilled occupational therapy services to patients
- Conducting evaluations and developing care plans with specific goals
- Collaborating with care teams and stakeholders to deliver quality patient-centred care
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers
- Managing patient care and education, including supervising assistants and staff
- Participating in continuing education opportunities and quality improvement processes
Requirements:
- Current Occupational Therapist license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Basic computer skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Current driver's license and reliable transportation
