Description

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

Business: IWPB Technology

Principal responsibilities:

  • Act as a technical subject matter expert and Full Stack Engineer, providing hands-on engineering leadership across the delivery lifecycle.
  • Ensure user stories are delivered to agreed scope, schedule, and budget, meeting defined quality standards and business requirements.
  • Design, develop, and enhance systems supporting Staff Channels, with a focus on scalability, resilience, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., platform, DevOps, security, QA) to plan and execute deployments across environments.
  • Proactively manage technical debt and maintain a strong security posture through secure-by-design practices and timely remediation of vulnerabilities.
  • Ensure solutions comply with relevant Group policies, standards, and engineering governance requirements.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents and underlying problems, performing root cause analysis and driving preventative actions.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in application development and production support within enterprise environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related discipline.
  • Strong communication skills with proven ability to collaborate effectively in spoken and written English.
  • Hands-on experience building user interfaces with React and developing backend services with Node.js.
  • Proficient in Java and the Spring Boot framework for building scalable, maintainable applications.
  • Experienced with engineering and project tools including Confluence, Jira, Jenkins, Git/GitHub, and SonarQube, with a strong focus on CI/CD integration, automation, and quality controls across the delivery pipeline.
