The News Quality Team is looking for an individual who is ready to be at the core of how LSEG delivers effective news metadata management and compliance with content distribution licenses.
You will track and measure the metadata quality of news associated with certain topics or themes, ensuring compliance with news distribution licenses and responding to queries from key LSEG partners.
Key responsibilities include:
- Tracking and measuring metadata quality of news associated with certain topics or themes
- Ensuring compliance with news distribution licenses through timely implementation of standard remediation procedures
- Responding to queries from key LSEG partners and performing standard procedures immediately
- Identifying and reporting emerging themes and topics that may draw regulatory concern
- Reviewing news transcripts in a timely manner, correcting any spelling, grammar, or formatting errors
- Maintaining accurate and timely content on the News Spotlight app
Requirements:
- Knowledge and experience in Communications, Journalism, Finance, Business, or Economics
- Strong communication and comprehension skills
- Knowledge of the financial industry, including terms and jargon
- Excellent research skills and ability to make real-time decision calls
- Above-average grasp of the English language and grammar
- Attention to detail, good organization skills, and strong time management
