The Battery Cell Raw Materials Team is seeking highly motivated candidates looking to accelerate their careers as we drive towards the future of mobility and dive into the Global Energy Storage sector. You will have the opportunity to disrupt your way of thinking by joining the team that is on the forefront of the Electrification revolution.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sourcing & RFx Management
  • Cost Management: Assist with cost roll up / cost report out on Cell Raw Material and Component costs (tariff change impacts, material cost changes) across multiple projects.
  • Compliance & Governance: Track NDAs, ensuring teams maintain up to date NDAs and protect confidential information.
  • Sourcing Support: Assist cross-functional teams with due diligence and sustainability assessments for future Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) sourcing.
  • Tariff & Trade Tracking: Update and maintain team's HTS code tracker / tariff % to gain proactive perspective on tariff implications and affected cost.
  • Category Leadership: Serve as sourcing lead for Carbon Black BESS sourcing.
  • Data & Process Improvement: Assist Raw Material Manager for Lithium with data automating / streamlining for EOL recycling projects, and other relevant bespoke data analysis projects to identify cost and efficiency improvement opportunities.
  • Market Intelligence: Analyze market trends, industry dynamics, and technology announcements to translate findings into data collection and actionable insights.
  • Industry Engagement: Attend industry events, supplier presentations, trade shows, and technology forums.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management or related field.
  • Desire to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment
  • Flexible/adaptable to changing work assignments and business priorities
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to ingest and analyze large data sets
  • Solid storyteller/presentation skills
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Creative thinker/problem solver and ability to consider multiple points of view and work with multiple skill teams
  • Aptitude to analyze industry trends and competitor actions
  • Demonstrates resourcefulness and attention to detail, converting ambiguity into clarity
