Accountant / 経理担当

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Saitama, Japan.

The successful candidate will provide support to the Finance department, focusing on accounting, reporting, and financial management.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting managers in the Finance department to ensure accurate and transparent accounting practices
• Preparing timely and accurate financial information for external and internal stakeholders
• Maintaining the fixed asset register and supervising asset accounting
• Managing accounts payable and receivable ledgers
• Controlling bank statement postings and reconciliations
• Guaranteeing compliance with local legislation and internal group accounting guidelines
• Continuously driving efficiency by streamlining processes and utilizing available tools

Requirements:

• Relevant accounting qualification
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of Japan Tax legislation, local GAAP, and IFRS
• Proficiency in SAP (FI, CO, COPA, and BI) and ideally HFM
• Structured and organized individual with result-oriented mindset
• Business-level English and native-level Japanese communication skills
