Software QA Test and Tools Developer – Automotive Platform

Join NVIDIA's SWQA organization as a Software QA Test and Tool Developer on the Automotive Platform team. Your role will involve validating the safety of millions on the road by architecting the security and reliability of the next generation of intelligent vehicles. You will design, execute, and automate comprehensive test cases to identify and track defects, participate in deep-dive reviews of product requirements, and partner with project management and software developers.

Responsibilities:

• Design, execute, and automate comprehensive test cases and test scenarios to validate automotive platforms
• Participate in deep-dive reviews of product requirements and technical designs
• Partner with project management, hardware teams, and software developers to provide technical analysis of bugs
• Architect and maintain a distributed test automation framework
• Develop sophisticated test libraries and automation solutions
• Drive the full automation lifecycle

Requirements:

• 5+ years of proven experience in automation engineering or software development
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Electrical Engineering
• Solid foundation in QNX or Linux-based operating systems
• Professional experience in System SW validation
• Strong Python or C++ skills
• Deep familiarity with AI-native development tools

Nice to have:

• Consistent track record of identifying vulnerabilities in low-level firmware or secure-boot implementations
• Practical history of deploying prompt engineering or LLM-based agents within a production-grade CI/CD pipeline
